Hi again, future European homeowner!

The worst decisions in life are almost always made in conference rooms.

You sit under harsh fluorescent lights, stare at a whiteboard, and talk about "synergies" and "action items" until someone eventually makes a safe, incredibly boring choice just to end the meeting.

The best decisions - the ones that actually change the trajectory of your life - are made at dinner parties.

When you sit around a crowded table, pass the wine, and actually get to the bottom of things, the world opens up. The spreadsheets get put away. The real stories come out. You stop optimizing for safety and you start optimizing for joy.

Deciding to buy a house in Europe shouldn't feel like a corporate strategy sync. It shouldn't be a cold calculation on a whiteboard. It should feel like a loud, messy, brilliant conversation where you finally look at each other and say, "Let's just do it."

This week, we went looking for the kinds of properties that inspire exactly that conversation.
But before we kick off - here’s a message from our friends at Morales Basics:

Spain has good taste. Now someone's writing about it

If you're buying a place in Spain, at some point you want to know what to wear there, where to eat, and what's actually worth the money.

Morales Basics is Carlos Morales García's running list: fashion, watches, food and travel, tested and worn rather than just photographed. No hype, no sponsored gushing. He's now posting in English on X, which is the easiest place to follow along as he finds things.

If you have a business or a property for sale and are interested in advertising with us - reach out.

Let’s look at the houses.
